Methods Of Non-Invasive Archaeology
Summer School at Klaipėda University (Lithuania), 27-31 August 2012
The school, open to student applicants, will take place in Lithuania, organized by the Klaipėda University Institute of Baltic sea region history and archaeology http://briai.ku.lt/ within the Arcland project.
The aim of the school is to give students general understanding on subjects given below:
- use of non-invasive sensing methods for archaeological heritage research, protection and promotion;
- description and interpretation of archival black/white vertical aerial images;
- knowledge and practical skills of GIS/GPS;
- magnetometer field work and interpretation of data.
