Potential of satellite images and hyper/multi-spectral recording in archaeology Poznań (Poland), Ju
Institute of Prehistory, Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznań (ArcLand Partner) organizes a training school for those who are interested and involved in past landscape studies as well as application of satellite imagery. MA and PhD archaeology students are invited to apply to join a training school to be held in Poznań (Poland).
The main aim of PoSIHRA will be to understanding of practical methods for data capture, processing algorithms and formal analysis of the results, as well as how remote sensing can be used to develop appropriate archaeological inferences. The course considers space-borne sensors: satellite images and hyper-/multispectral data. The course will be taught using a combination of lectures and practical sessions.
